About 1771-HSN

The 1771-HSN is a PLC 5 IMC 120 Servo Controller Module. It does not contain a memory cartridge and it requires a 1771-HM or a 1771-HMA plug-in memory cartridge. It is a Series B module.
The 1771-HSN module has a fuse voltage of 120V and 250KHz differential maximum input frequency. It has +/- 10 Volt DC Analog Command outputs. It has a dimension of 3.5 x 6.5 x 2 in. and weighs 2.2 lbs. It has a backplane current load of 1.7A and 2ms/axis module update period. It comes with 1771-WA and 1771-WB wiring arms for module replacement without the need for disconnecting wiring. It requires one slot for installation in a 1771 I/O chassis.
PLC 5 controllers are widely used for industrial control in a 1771 platform. They occupy a single slot in an I/O chassis and are used for high-speed information processing. It is used in applications with specialized I/O requirements and processor coordination like large regulatory and sequential control applications. The PLC system offers a complete range of digital and analog I/O modules including intelligent I/O and it uses a variety of communication networks like DH+, ControlNet, EtherNet/IP, etc. The 1771-HSN module is made for use in a clean industrial environment with a 0 – 60 °C (32 – 140 °F) operating temperature, a 5 – 95 % noncondensing relative humidity, and a 30g operating shock.
